Ticketing Officer
The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.
(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)
You are responsible for:
- providing ticketing services at West Kowloon sales outlets across the district, including Freespace, Xiqu Centre, M+ and Hong Kong Palace Museum, and maintaining daily operation of ticketing hotline;
- handling ticket buyers’ enquiries, complaints and difficult cases in professional manner;
- providing support and training to Ticketing Assistants in all aspects of the use of the computerised ticketing system;
- working closely with internal parties and external hirers on handling all issues relating to ticket sales;
- supporting the ticketing system setup team by delivering event configuration in accordance with prescribed operational procedures; and
- performing any other related general duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
You should:
- possess a higher diploma or above in any disciplines;
- have around 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in ticketing, customer service or front-of-house operation;
- be patient, customer-oriented, detail-minded and have a strong sense of responsibility;
- be required to work on shift according to the duty roster assigned including weekends and public holidays; and
- be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
