SeatGeek has entered into two multi-year partnerships with horse racing entities the Breeders’ Cup World Championships and Del Mar Thoroughbred Club in California.
This makes SeatGeek the official ticketing partner of both as it aims to make securing tickets to events easier for customers.
“Attending the Breeders’ Cup is a one-of-a-kind experience, and our partnership with SeatGeek ensures fans will have an easier and more intuitive way to access tickets for years to come,” said executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Breeders’ Cup Limited John Keitt.
“This collaboration is a step forward in enhancing the overall fan journey, from purchasing tickets to enjoying the extraordinary racing and atmosphere offered at the World Championships.”
This is SeatGeek’s second foray into horse racing as it is also a partner of Monmouth Park in New Jersey.
It claims that its backend technology will equip the two new partners with data-driven solutions to elevate their operational practices by streamlining sales and inventory management.
“Our focus has always been on delivering a superior experience for everyone who steps through our gates, and SeatGeek’s technology helps us take that mission further,” said executive vice-president and chief operating officer of Del Mar, Ann Hall.
“By further modernizing our back office, we’re able to focus our efforts on creating experiences that better serve our guests and maintain the high standards they expect.”
