Welsh music and arts festival, Green Man, sold out tickets within the hour in partnership with TicketSellers, which is part of the Citizen Ticket Group.

The ticketing and accreditation solutions provider was announced as the official ticketing partner for the festival, which attracts more than 25,000 attendees to the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog).

Green Man Festival turned to TicketSellers to deal with high traffic during the sales window and to avoid the use of a queueing system.

TicketSellers has also worked with UK festival Shambala, which launched tickets on October 3, while further announcing new partnerships with NL Productions, Dundee Christmas Village, Spirit of Speyside, Lost Shore, Krankbrother and more.

“Running a high popularity on-sale can be stressful, with thousands of eager festival-goers vying for tickets all at once,” said Jon Walsh, founder and director of Shambala Festival.

“We have enjoyed a 17-year relationship with TicketSellers, now part of Citizen Ticket Group, and used their mass ticket release capabilities to alleviate much of the pressure. Their ability to handle high-demand events year on year allows us to focus on delivering a fantastic festival experience for everyone.”

Commenting on the Green Man and Shambala partnerships, Mo Jones, chair of Citizen Ticket, added: “We are proud to be chosen as Green Man Festival’s ticketing partner for 2025. Our platform was designed to tackle exactly these kinds of challenges – handling large-scale ticket sales with ease and ensuring a seamless, secure experience for both organisers and festival-goers.

“We look forward to playing a key role in ensuring Green Man and Shambala Festival’s 2025 events are unforgettable.”

Edinburgh-headquartered Citizen Ticket acquired TicketSellers earlier this year.
