Lollapalooza India pre-sale and general admission tickets have already sold out, some six months before the festival is set to return to India in March 2025.
The third edition of the festival boasts a line-up featuring the likes of Green Day, Shawn Mendes, Louis Tomlinson, Glass Animals and more, with organisers announcing on Instagram that general admission two-day passes had sold out.
Organisers added that Lolla VIP and Lolla Platinum tickets were still up for grabs.
Produced and promoted by BookMyShow, along with founder and artist Perry Farrell, and C3 Presents, Lollapalooza India first took place in January 2023. The inaugural event attracted more than 60,000 fans to Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Race Course.
Ahead of next year’s edition, Owen Roncon, chief of business, live events at BookMyShow told Forbes India: “The response has been fantastic, with early bird tickets – GA and LollaComfort – selling out in just seven hours, followed by tickets sales flying through the roof for the festival. The newly introduced LollaComfort by RuPay category has been a hit and is already completely sold out.”
Roncon said earlier this year that he expected the event would break even in 2025.
With the last two editions having previously taken place in January, 2025’s festival is scheduled for March 8-9.
