SecuTix has proved that online ticket sales are on trend after a successful opening to its partnership with the new Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris.
Secutix, the provider of a cloud-based ticketing engagement platform for the sports, culture and entertainment industries, was selected to work with the attraction, which celebrates the late fashion designer, in September.
After a two-week implementation period, SecuTix 360° went live for the online sales launch on September 25, a week before the museum, at the famous 5 avenue Marceau site, opened its doors. Less than two months later, online ‘Visit Pass’ purchases already account for 45 per cent of the museum’s total sales.
Christian Binelli, operations director at SecuTix France, said: “It’s an honour to be working with an institution as prestigious as the Musée Yves Saint Laurent. Our goal is to support the museum’s customer engagement vision by using our technology to build a seamless, unique visitor experience that starts with the ticket purchase process itself.”
SecuTix was selected after offering a comprehensive service that included the offering of advance online B2C booking in 30-minute timeslots and management of sales across multiple channels. Its solution also includes the mining of data for a better understanding of visitors and development of an active community.
The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris offers a wide range of attractions including group and individual museum visits, a lecture series, an on-site shop, and ad hoc events, such as visits to the restoration workshop.
