Vivaticket chief Silvano Taiani has said its partnership with a major Spanish festival is a “key” step in consolidating the ticketing solutions provider’s presence in the Iberian market.
Vivaticket has been named the official ticketing partner of Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest.
Established in 2021, Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest transforms the city of Seville into a celebration of music. This year’s festival will run from May 30 until July 14 featuring a mixture of Spanish favourites and international stars like Justin Timberlake and Kyle Minogue.
In 2024, Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest sold almost 200,000 tickets, cementing its place as one of the main music events in Spain.
Already operating in countries such as France, Italy, the US, Australia and Dubai, Vivaticket entered the Spanish market through the acquisition of ticketing operator Tecteltic last summer.
“For Vivaticket, this alliance with Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest is a key step in our consolidation in the Iberian market,” said Silvano Taiani, chief executive of Vivaticket.
“We are excited to team-up with an innovative and impactful festival like Icónica, already consolidated as a reference in the music scene. Together we will work on providing a unique experience to the audience, starting from the moment of ticket purchase and continuing throughout the event.”
Vivaticket’s existing roster of clients include the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Italian Serie A teams AS Roma and AC Milan, and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
Javier Esteban, director of Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest, added: “For Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest, having Vivaticket as official ticketing partner is a natural step in our evolution as a festival. In each edition, we seek not only to offer a world class music program, but also to take care of every detail of the audience’s experience.
“With Vivaticket, we are taking a significant step forward, trusting in a reliable, agile and user-friendly platform, which will allow us to continue growing and consolidating ourselves as one of the great festivals of Southern Europe. We are sure that this alliance will be essential to continue offering a sustainable, accessible and memorable festival model for everyone.”
