Apple
Apple has brought a new immersive concert experience with rock band Metallica to the Apple Vision Pro.
Filmed in Mexico City during the band’s M72 World Tour, the experience features full performances of the songs “Whiplash”, “One”, and “Enter Sandman”.
Fans can access 180-degree video and Apple’s Spatial Audio technology as well as a range of different views of the show.
“Apple Immersive Video transforms the way people experience storytelling, and we’re thrilled to collaborate with Metallica on a concert unlike any before it,” said Tor Myhren, Apple’s vice-president of marketing communications.
“With Metallica on Apple Vision Pro, you feel like you’re right there: front row, backstage, and even on stage with one of the biggest bands of all time.”
Inter Milan
Italian football club Inter Milan has partnered with technology company Vedrai for the remainder of the current season as well as the 2025-26 campaign. The aim of the collaboration is to integrate artificial intelligence into the club’s strategic management and ticketing operations.
“We are proud of this partnership with FC Internazionale Milano,” said Vedrai chief executive, Michele Grazioli.
“At Vedrai, we are committed to offering cutting-edge technological solutions that help our partners achieve their goals through data-driven strategies.
“We believe that this collaboration is a concrete example of how innovation can create value; we are proud to be able to contribute to making the club more dynamic and competitive.”
Dancefloor
A new app, named Dancefloor, has been launched which helps users to find the best DJ and club nights in their city.
The platform sends personalised notifications whenever your favourite DJs are playing nearby while the daily feed highlights what’s trending.
“I wanted to build Dancefloor mostly for myself,” said Dancefloor founder and chief executive Ben King.
“It was annoying having to bounce around multiple apps, and it was surprisingly hard to find out when my favourite DJs were playing in my city.
“Since the app went live, the reaction has been incredible. Fans are really discovering so many new artists and events. There is so much we can do here to help fans and the wider dance community, and we’re just getting started.”
24/7 Software
Operations management company 24/7 Software has launched GlobalCommand, a platform that It claims redefines how Global Security Operations Centres (GSOCs) are implemented across the leisure, sports, and entertainment industries.
It aims to enable multi-venue organisations to establish centralised GSOCs in weeks, allowing them to increase the efficiency and scalability of their operations.
“GlobalCommand is designed to revolutionise how venues operate at a global scale,” said Matthew Dobrosevic, vice-president of product, integrations, and analytics at 24/7 Software.
“Our platform delivers unmatched ease of use and scalability, whether supporting Six Flags’ 40+ parks, or SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park.
“It bridges the gap between safety, security, facilities, and guest services, granting organisations global transparency and the power to act remotely to manage risk.”
