Eventbrite has launched a new timed entry tool, enabling organisers to set up and sell multiple daily time slots for events.

The fully customisable solution can be utilised by tour, attractions, excursions and class operators, where guests need to book a ticket for their preferred time slot. Together with Eventbrite’s existing AI-powered features that generate event descriptions and categorisation, the timed entry tool further simplifies event set-up and capacity management for organisers.

Eventbrite has witnessed a surge in searches for seasonal activities, such as haunted houses, pumpkin patches, light shows and ice skating. The timed entry solution will help organisers maximise both attendance and revenue for this type of event.

“Timed entry ticketing makes managing event capacity easy, freeing up organisers to focus on creating memorable experiences,” commented Ted Dworkin, chief product officer at Eventbrite.

“For attendees, the tool reduces long lines, stressful check-ins, and overcrowded events, making the whole experience better for everyone.”

Eventbrite has introduced further benefits for event organisers, making its platform, and ticketing and built-in marketing tools available to everyone. Organisers can also enjoy reduced-cost Pro Plans, the ability to offer customers promotions such as ‘buy one, get one free’, consolidated payouts and more.

The new timed entry tool will first be available to Eventbrite organisers in the US, with plans to expand to international markets in the coming months.
