UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 ticket-holders will be offered free public transport as part of the tournament’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy.
The tournament is set to take place in Switzerland, with tickets for 18 games already sold out. Tickets were placed on sale on October 1.
A key objective for tournament organisers is to minimise the environmental impact by promoting low carbon mobility by providing free public transport for ticket-holders travelling within the host country.
On matchdays, match tickets will be valid for a second-class round-trip between any Swiss locality and the match venue.
The scheme has drawn inspiration from the success of the men’s UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany, which offered a similar promotion for attendees.
Sixteen teams will compete across eight host venues, with the tournament running between July 2-27, 2025.
