Elvis Evolution AI experience to open in London next May

The Elvis Evolution immersive experience is set to open in London in May 2025 with tickets on sale from later this week.

The show, at London Excel’s new Immerse LDN entertainment district, features a ‘live performance’ from a technology-generated Elvis Presley, who is accompanied by live musicians. The two-hour show, which has been developed by Layered Reality, will be the third event to open at Immerse LDN, following The Friends Experience: The One In London and The Formula 1: The Exhibition.

Elvis Evolution is to use technology including generative AI, augmented reality and projection to create a multi-sensory immersive environment for fans of the rock’n’roll icon. The show builds on the success of ABBA Voyage, which welcomed over one million visitors last year.

Layered Reality founder and chief executive Andrew McGuinness said: “Elvis maintains superstar status globally and people around the world no longer want to sit and passively receive entertainment – they want to be a part of it.”

Tickets available

Tickets go on sale from this Friday (Oct 25) via See Tickets. As well as standard tickets, there will be a variety of VIP options available. Each performance is limited to 180 people.

Layered Reality has partnered with Elvis Presley Enterprises and Authentic Brands Group, the custodians of the Elvis Presley estate, and as a result has been granted access to thousands of Elvis’s personal photos and hours of the star’s home-video archive.

Elvis Presley Enterprises managing partner Joel Weinshanker said the show pushes the boundaries of how his legacy has been experienced: “Layered Reality’s immersive approach will allow fans to truly step into Elvis’ world and feel the energy and spirit of his music in an unprecedented way.”

Earlier this year, it was reported that Abba Voyage’s creators are in talks to create a hologram show featuring Presley, who died in 1977. Pophouse Entertainment has held talks with Sony Music and Authentic Brands Group (ABG), which collectively own Presley’s music, image and likeness.
