MyVenue has unveiled a new partnership with FreedomPay, becoming the first sports and entertainment point-of-sale solution certified by FreedomPay on Castles Technology’s Portable Android Series POS devices. The all-in-one handheld POS device with MyVenue’s cloud-based solution is already live across a number of major league and college venues in the US.
Chillz US reveals strategic acquisition
Chillz US, the parent company of Linkstub, has acquired event-tech company WYA. Chillz is a technology company that provides user-friendly event platforms for businesses of all sizes, with features including branded event pages, ticketing, marketing tools, team management and more. WYA was formed in 2022 and provides premium event management software to businesses across the US. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Viking Fehu launches utility token
Viking Fehu, a start-up NFT ticketing platform for online and offline events, recently launched utility token FEHU on the BitMart exchange. Viking Fehu launched a year ago, and is planning to introduce a ticketing system using blockchain-certified NFTs to verify the authenticity and ownership of digital files.
Ticketbud Payments
Event ticketing platform Ticketbud has introduced Ticketbud Payments, a white-label payment processing solution powered by Finix. The integration will allow event organisers to seamlessly manage ticket sales, gain faster access to revenue thanks to daily payouts and the option to access revenue before events, and benefit from a more cost-effective and secure payment system.
