The Eagles kicked off their residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas over the weekend, with 18 dates still to come.
The veteran US rockers first announced their residency in June, before adding further shows due to high demand. They will play through to the end of January, with a total of 20 shows across 10 weekends.
Irish rock band U2 opened the Sphere in September last year with a residency that ran until March, featuring 40 shows.
The Eagles are the fourth band to feature at the Sphere, with Phish and Dead & Company also headlining the venue. Dead & Company’s 30-night residency came to a close last month.
With a $2.3bn (£1.7bn/€2bn) price tag, the venue can hold up to 18,600 guests, boasts floor-to-ceiling graphics, and a 580,000-square foot exterior Exosphere consisting of roughly 1.2 million LED pucks, spaced eight inches apart.
Each puck houses 48 individual LED diodes, with each diode capable of displaying 256 million different colours. It is also the largest LED screen on earth.
The Eagles’ next two shows will be held on September 27 and 29.
