Two CTS Eventim subsidiaries have merged to form one company spread across the German cities of Cologne and Berlin.

Promoters PRK Peter Rieger Konzertagentur, based in Cologne, and DreamHaus in Berlin, have merged to form PRK DreamHaus.

The new firm will be led jointly by current managing directors Klaus-Peter Matziol and Matt Schwarz.

With plans to step down at a later date, Matziol will work with Schwarz over the next few years to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible.

Peter Rieger Konzertagentur was founded in 1983 by Peter Rieger, who handed over the baton to his long-time co-managing director, Matziol, in 2015.

The company has worked with iconic artists such as Barbra Streisand, Cher, David Bowie, George Michael, U2, The Rolling Stones, Lionel Richie and more.

DreamHaus was founded by Matt Schwarz in 2021 as a subsidiary of the CTS Eventim Group, and stages renowned music festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.

“The merger between PRK Peter Rieger Konzertagentur and DreamHaus will optimally position the company so that it can continue growing and sustainably strengthen its live entertainment presence within a challenging market environment,” said CTS Eventim chief executive, Klaus-Peter Schulenberg.
