AEG Presents and Jacobs Entertainment, a developer, owner and operator of gaming and entertainment facilities, are set to add a new live events space in Cleveland, Ohio.

Globe Iron will be located on the West Bank of Cleveland’s Flats nightlife district, and will feature a 1,200-capacity indoor concert hall accompanied by a courtyard for year-round entertainment.

Once home to the sprawling Globe Iron Works Foundry built in 1853, the new multipurpose venue will retain the name and history of Cleveland’s hardworking nature. Concert promoter AEG Present has been careful to rehabilitate the landmark while preserving the venue’s charm.

AEG Presents will operate and exclusively book the venue’s programming, which will include a diverse lineup of music and events, bringing roughly 150 events to the US city.

“Cleveland has been a focus for AEG Presents since renovating the iconic Agora 6 years ago. With a design focused on the best live experience, Globe Iron will be a must-play venue in the region,” said Jason Rogalewski, senior vice president of AEG Presents Great Lakes.

“It will check all the boxes with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, perfect sight lines, and world-class amenities for both fans and artists, all within a unique setting that ensures a truly great experience and supports our goal of bringing more tours to Cleveland.”

Globe Iron will not only host live music performances, but will also specialise in bespoke events for corporate functions, weddings, conferences, award shows, fundraisers and more. The newly renovated venue features an open-air courtyard, cocktail area, and a reception space.

AEG Presents already books several venues in Cleveland, including the 2,000-capacity Agora Theatre and 4,900-capacity covered, outdoor amphitheatre Jacobs Pavilion.

“We are thrilled to continue our strong relationship with AEG Presents. Jacobs Pavilion has been a great success, and we look forward to the same with Globe Iron for years to come,” commented executive vice president of Jacobs Entertainment, Patrick McKinley.

The new venue is set to open March 1, 2025.
