The festival features major K-pop artists, as well as water gun battles, water cannons, and interactive pool parties.
“Get ready to experience Waterbomb’s water fight with the K-pop and EDM line-up! Forget your problems and stress, and let’s enjoy the refreshing water splash and super energetic moments together,” said organisers in an Instagram post.
Waterbomb was first held in South Korea in 2015, and has previously featured major K-pop acts such as Blackpink, aespa, Sandara Park, Sunmi and Jesse.
Details of the venue, date and line-up of the Manila edition are yet to be announced, but Seoul’s recent staging of the three-day festival welcomed the likes of Zico, Jay Park, Shinee’s Taemin and Minho, Mamamoo’s Hwasa, Twice’s Nayeon, Cha Eunwoo, Kwon Eunbi, and Kiss of Life.
The festival has also taken place in Dubai, with further plans for Taipei, Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, Los Angeles in the US and Bali, Indonesia.
