The Blues rugby union team has renewed its agreement with ticketing partner, Flicket, with the extension taking the partnership to the end of 2025.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Blues Rugby competes in the Super Rugby league, and plays its home matches at the 50,000-capacity Eden Park (pictured).
The Blues will continue to benefit from greater data potential and flexibility in the club’s ticketing approach, to better connect with fans. Additionally, the deal will see the Blues utilise Flicket’s real-time reporting and customer support, while also boosting the direct-to-fan experience, maximising conversion ratios and more.
Todd Hewitt, Blues’ general manager of commercial, said: “The Blues have worked hard to drive at match attendance and experience over the last three years and in Flicket we have a partner who is here to grow the premium position that rugby has held in New Zealand for many years, by supporting the Blues to build strong communities for the future of the game.”
Ben Calvert, chief executive and co-founder of Flicket, added: “We extend our deepest gratitude to key stakeholders, including Eden Park, Auckland Rugby, and the Blues, for their unwavering support. This collaboration not only underscores our commitment to innovation but also signifies dedication from all key stakeholders in providing fans with a seamless and enhanced ticketing experience.
“We are particularly proud to be supported by the Blues, a team that values and champions New Zealand-owned and operated businesses. As we continue this journey together, Flicket is excited to continue elevating the connection directly between the Blues and their fans, making every checkout a breeze.”
