The Houston Texans National Football League (NFL) team has opted to expand its partnership with TicketManager, in a multi-year agreement that will benefit corporate partners and premium customers.

TicketManager’s existing relationship with the Texans has spanned over a decade.

As part of the expanded deal, TicketManager will offer its proprietary software to the Texans’ corporate clients to transfer and track tickets. Corporate partners and premium customers will be able to centralise their operations, as this can be done not only for Texans games, but for sporting and entertainment events throughout Houston.

Jerry Angel, senior vice-president of partnerships at the Houston Texans, said: “TicketManager has provided an invaluable service for Texans Luxe Members for many years and we are excited to expand their offerings to all of our corporate ticket accounts.

“We strive to cultivate a world class fan experience and TicketManager helps our partners maximise the value of their tickets and suites.”

TicketManager’s technology identifies unused tickets throughout the Houston market, and also expedites mobile transfers and generates real-time scan reports. The Texans’ partners will also be able to recapture the value of any unused tickets through TicketManager’s partnership with Ticketmaster to sell excess inventory.

Tony Knopp, chief executive and co-founder of TicketManager, added: “We’re excited to partner with the Houston Texans to help companies get the most out of their investment in sports and entertainment events.

“We are in important times for companies that use sports tickets for customers and partners. Our partnership with the Texans, a longtime TicketManager partner, will help companies continue to invest in sports and entertainment tickets, which are vital for growing and maintaining business.”
