The Paddington Bear Experience is to be opened as a new permanent immersive attraction at London’s County Hall.

The show, developed by The Path Entertainment Group, will be directed by the creative collective Immersive Octopus and written by Katie Lyons, who was behind the recent hit ‘Peaky Blinders: The Rise’. Lionsgate and The Copyrights Group Ltd, the international IP development agency, have also been involved in the development of the attraction at the 26,000 square ft venue.

According to a statement: “Audiences will be thrown into the thick of the action as they help Paddington and the Brown family prepare for a special day. A feast for the senses, visitors will step into the world of Paddington and become immersed in some of the most iconic locations, culminating in a Windsor Gardens extravaganza.

“The multi-sensory experience incorporates ground-breaking design, live performance and video to capture the hearts of Paddington fans from ages 4-94. Themed food, beverage and retail will also be available.”

In a LinkedIn post, David Hutchinson, founder of the Path Entertainment Group, said: “After three years, team The Path Entertainment Group are delighted to announce we are bringing the marmalade loving bear Paddington to central London, in a major new immersive experience opening in the iconic County Hall this year.

“Our incredible creative team, alongside partners Lionsgate & The Copyrights Group Ltd. are going to deliver a thrilling new permanent attraction with London’s favourite Peruvian bear.”
