TryBooking has partnered with financial infrastructure platform Stripe to expand its online checkout solution offering.
The online community event ticketing platform hopes the partnership will offer further protection for fighting fraud, as well as offering event organisers reliable and optimised payment channels.
Event organisers will be able to link their event to their own Stripe account to receive payment, and will be able to negotiate their fee with Stripe and receive payouts 24/7. Stripe will also enable TryBooking users based in the US to pay across multiple methods through mobile, online and card-based payment options.
TryBooking will now be one of the first companies to be part of the Stripe partner ecosystem, with access to the partner directory to find the right partners.
Jeff McAlister, managing director of TryBooking, said: “We’re thrilled to be one of the first to join Stripe’s Global Partner Ecosystem Program.
“Our mutual customers benefit from the combination of TryBooking’s event ticketing platform built for local communities with Stripe’s seamless payments platform. We’re excited to support the program’s long-term mission of bringing more commerce online and growing the GDP of the internet.”
In February, TryBooking introduced a ‘Calendar Display’ feature for theatre, venue and tourism clients that run multiple sessions over multiple days.
Customers will be able to view multiple session times in one display and scan for dates and availability. The new feature was introduced to speed up the ticket purchasing process.
