Tix Ticketing has announced that it will establish a new office in Kyiv, Ukraine, and has added to its engineering team.
Three new senior developers have joined the ticketing software company and will focus on strengthening the core technical platform. Andrii Zhuk (pictured left), Oleksandr Karplyuk (pictured middle) and Oleksandr Melnichenko (pictured right) will also work to expand the Tix solution with new features.
Tix Ticketing already has offices in nine countries with its main hub based in Reykjavik, Iceland. The new additions to the team in Ukraine will work alongside the Iceland-based engineers.
Hrefna Sif Jonsdottir, Tix Ticketing’s chief operating officer, said: “Extending the Tix operation to Ukraine will allow us to support our growth with rapid scaling of engineering talent to a proud nation known for their hard work, creative solutions and perseverance. Thanks to our wonderful partnership with Inspirito we were able to add experiences and talented individuals to our team.”
Ragnar Skùlason, Tix Ticketing’s head of engineering, added: “We are excited to welcome Andrii, Oleksandr and Oleksandr to the team. They all have extensive experience in software development and will add great value to our engineering team.
