Simon Buck has started a new position as head of business development and partnerships UK/EU, with Australian ticketing company TIX.co.
Buck has previous experience with StubHub in several roles and has also been the ticketing director for Last Second Tickets.
He wrote on LinkedIn: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as head of business development and partnerships UK/EU at TIX.co! It’s an exciting time to be joining the TIX Group as they expand their business globally.”
Thom Sellwood has been promoted to head of sales and ticketing at immersive experience company, Hartshorn-Hook Enterprises.
Sellwood was previously the sales and ticketing manager at the company, and has previous experience as a sales and ticketing manager at AKA Promotions.
Elsewhere, Emily Collison has joined The Walt Disney Company as the sales and ticketing analytics supervisor.
Collison spent almost 18 years with Ambassador Theatre Group, before moving into other roles such as the ticketing and sales manager for BHLive.
Steve Wojcik has been promoted to director, seller operations at Vivid Seats.
Wojcik has been with the company for almost a decade, after joining in 2012 as a customer service agent.
A new primary ticketing marketplace, Tixnet, is set to be introduced by founder and chief executive Atle Barlaup.
He has previously co-founded Ticombo and has also been the CEO of Tixnet.
ASM Global has expanded its US development division with the hire of two new executives – Katherine Krohn (pictured left) and Aliah Summers (pictured right).
Krohn has been brought in as vice-president of business development while Summers has been appointed director, business development, sales and marketing.
Vice-president for strategy and development, Chuck Steedman, said: “We are thrilled to add these two accomplished business development executives to our team at ASM Global.
“Their presence will greatly enhance our ability to engage with existing and prospective partners via our unmatched toolbox of partnerships, content, marketing, technology, guest-experience journeys, sustainability, community involvement and worldwide experience.

Liam Johnson has started a new position as executive director at Arena Racing Company.
Johnson has also held roles with The Jockey Club, where he spent six years. He wrote on LinkedIn: “Very much looking forward to my new chapter within Arena Racing Company at Royal Windsor Racecourse. Many thanks to my contacts who have supported my journey so far within the world of racing.”
Shaun Lumsden has started a new position as senior business and data analyst at EngageRM, while Joachim Sayegh has started a new role as BAL ticketing manager at the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Holi Smith is the new head of competitions and events at Six Nations Rugby, and Mike Clough has become the senior vice-president, consumer revenue, at baseball team Minnesota Twins.
Elsewhere, Dan Migala has started a new role as co-president and chief revenue officer, global technology solutions, at Legends.
Joseph Lee has returned to the ticketing sector as the new general manager of Hong Kong Ticketing.
Lee was previously the general manager of Hong Kong’s CityLine ticketing service, before working in the health care sector, and eventually returning to the ticketing industry.
