Citizen Ticket has partnered with all six rugby clubs that make up the FOSROC Super6 league in Scotland.
The online ticketing and livestream platform has signed a one-year deal with Ayrshire Bulls, Boroughmuir Bears, Heriot’s Rugby, Stirling County, Southern Knights and Watsonians Rugby.
The tech company has won the contract for the league’s second season to support the ticketing at the more than 30 scheduled fixtures, which commence at the end of this month.
The comprehensive deal comes after Citizen Ticket previously worked with three of the clubs during the inaugural FOSROC Super6 season in 2019.
Harry Boisseau, chief executive at Citizen Ticket, said: “This is an important win for us as we continue to strengthen our foothold in the sporting arena in Scotland.
“Following on from our investment round at the end of last year, we have been working hard to ensure our tech offering, customer experience and client service continues to innovate and be one of the most premium ticketing solutions in the marketplace.”
Colin McCallum, vice president of Heriot’s, who play at the 3,000-capacity Goldenacre, said: “It’s great news that Citizen Ticket will be the ticket vendor for all FOSROC Super6 games this season. We have used their system before, it’s very user friendly and we look forward to using them in the coming season.”
The FOSROC Super6, which launched in November 2019, is played by six franchise teams and is the top tier of domestic rugby in Scotland.
