Boom Live, a marketing agency for ticketing and live entertainment industries, has decided to cease trading after eight years.
The firm’s clients included Secret Cinema, Brighton Racecourse and Walking with Dinosaurs, The Arena Spectacular, among many others.
In the last 24 months alone Boom is credited with selling more than one million tickets to the public for experiences across theatre, sport, immersive entertainment, festivals and cinema.
Dawn Farrow, Boom Live’s founder and chief executive said: “I am extraordinarily proud of my team and the work we have delivered for our clients including The Luna Cinema, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Adam Kay, Brighton racecourse, Jools Holland and Secret Cinema to name only a few.
“I’m closing Boom on a high with huge praise for the team around me and for the clients we have, many of whom have become friends and who we will continue to deliver for at the very highest standards until we close the doors for the last time.
“The way people want to experience live entertainment is changing, entertainment genres are merging and our customers’ motivations to buy a ticket have changed. I look forward to staying involved with the entertainment and live experience sectors and can’t wait for the next challenge. With the experience they have gained at Boom, I know my team will also go on to be successful in the next stage of their careers.
“Thank you to all of you who have contributed to the success of Boom and supported the enterprise in different ways. Thank you to my team, to our clients, to our partners and to our back office support. Boom couldn’t have happened without you.”
Boom Live, previously Boom Ents, will cease trading later this year.
