Gantner Ticketing has signed two new deals with attractions in Europe and entered a new national market.
The provider of software for museums, zoos, cultural heritage and visitor attractions has partnered with its first Luxembourg client, the Luxembourg Science Centre, and the Coventry Transport Museum in England.
The Luxembourg Science Centre partnership will work in two phases. First it will install Gantner’s ReCreateX POS software at the reception and also in the restaurant. This will be used for selling tickets, food and merchandise, as well as bookings for the centre’s daily shows.
After the second phase, the ReCreateX software will also be used for a full range of transactions including invoicing, ticket sales, stock management, membership management, school and group bookings.
Visitors will also have the ability to buy their tickets online before visiting and can purchase or renew memberships online too. In the future, the system will make it easy for whole groups and schools to make their bookings online.
“With Gantner’s ReCreateX software, the Luxembourg Science Center will have a user-friendly and intuitive POS and ticketing management solution at hand,” said a spokesperson for Austria-based Gantner.
“The ReCreateX platform ensures fast, accurate processing of high volumes of visitors. It uses the latest ticketing software to integrate with numerous ticket sales networks.
“The software offers an extensive ‘real-time’ suite of online reports providing a detailed analysis of visitor numbers, exhibition booking numbers, group bookings, membership bookings, direct debit contact information and more.”
Gantner will also set up the access control and ReCreateX POS systems for the Coventry Transport Museum after it introduced annual admission charges from the beginning of this summer.
Free access to the museum – which attracts over 360,000 visitors a year and is home to many of the most memorable vehicles of the last 200 years – is being maintained to all residents in Coventry through the new GoCV cards that have been launched by Coventry City Council.
Gantner has developed a bespoke integration with the GoCV platform.
ReCreateX can be integrated with access control points such as turnstiles, barriers or gates, as well as all types of customer membership and loyalty cards.
