Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, is set to open its TSA Precheck ticketed gate this spring thanks to a partnership with identity and security company Idemia.
The Boston Globe newspaper reports that supporters of the Major League Baseball team who are TSA Precheck members will be able to skip queues at Fenway Park once the initiative is introduced in the spring. A five-year TSA Precheck membership costs $85 (£66/€75).
Supporters will simply present a ‘known traveller number’, which will either be on their mobile device or printed out. Once the number and the ticket has been presented, they will be allowed swift entry to Fenway Park.
