Indian digital payment firm Paytm, which owns TicketNew and Insider.in, has agreed a ticketing partnership with Indian Super League (ISL) football club FC Goa.
The three-year deal will see Paytm oversee the end-to-end ticketing requirements for FC Goa’s matches at its Fatorda Stadium.
Paytm and Insider.in will be utilised for the contract. Aside from ticketing, the company will also manage payments for food and beverages using the Paytm Tap Card, as well as merchandise sales, both online and offline, at the stadium.
The agreement will take effect from FC Goa’s opening home match of the 2018-19 season at its 18,600-seat stadium, a game against Mumbai City on October 24.
In July, Paytm made a call for all ticket-buyers in India to use online payment methods when making their purchases.
