Indian ticketing competitors Paytm and BookMyShow have both secured separate partnership deals with Indian Premier League (IPL) teams for the 2018 season.
Rajasthan Royals announced an alliance with bookmyshow.com, which will provide exclusive ticketing services for the team for the upcoming IPL 2018 season.
Meanwhile, Paytm has partnered with Kings XI Punjab, along with Insider.in, to handle the operations for its home games, including managing the box office, stadium entry seating and physical ticket delivery.
BookMyShow’s new partnership has been employed to simplify the ticket purchasing process for the fans across the globe. Rajasthan Royals fans will be able to book their tickets online starting today (Tuesday) by visiting BookMyShow or logging onto the mobile app.

Kings XI Punjab fans will be provided with cancellation protection through Paytm and Insider.in, while they can also pre-buy special IPL-Paytm F&B payments card online and use it towards food and beverage purchases at the stadium.
In addition, fans will be able to purchase official merchandise on the Paytm Mall and Insider.in app and website.

King XI Punjab’s opening game of the season is against the Delhi Daredevils on April 8, while the Rajasthan Royals will host the Delhi Daredevils in their first home match on April 11.
