A SeatGeek report has revealed that Beyoncé’s foray into country music has inspired a new generation of music fans to explore the genre more closely.
Surveying more than 3,300 fans, SeatGeek aimed to discover the summer’s most anticipated country tours, as well as fans’ favourite country artists and thoughts on how Beyoncé’s album has inspired a new generation of country fans.
Over one-third of survey respondents planned to attend a country concert this year, while almost 80% that identified as hardcore country fans planned on attending a country live music event.
According to the survey, the most popular summer concerts are from country artists such as Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Zach Bryan and Kenny Chesney. SeatGeek data has confirmed that this excitement has indeed translated into demand for tickets.
Additionally, country artists represented four of the top 10 most in-demand summer concerts this year, with Wallen holding the top spot.
“Beyoncé’s impact on country music has been revolutionary, introducing a whole new demographic of fans to its beauty and depth – all while reshaping the perception of what country can be,” said Kendyl Dunn, leader of entertainment strategy at SeatGeek.
